Harvard University test optional until 2026

Harvard University became the latest university to join more than 1800 universities with test optional or test free admisisons policies. Unlike many of the more recent announcements, the country’s oldest university announced that their policy would apply for applicants to for admissions through the fall of 2026.

In an interview with the NY Times, Harvard’s Dean of Admissions, William Fitzsimmons said “Students who do not submit standardized test scores will not be disadvantaged in their application process.”
